Everything you need to plan your journey to southern Italy
Welcome to Puglia
We are getting married at Masseria Amastuola, a historic wine estate set among terraced vineyards and ancient olive groves near Crispiano, in the province of Taranto. Below you will find how to get here, where to stay, and a few of our tips for making the most of your time in the region.
We have reserved a block of rooms at Best Western Hotel Massafra for our guests. To access the discounted rate, please email info@hotelmassafra.it and mention the Chloé & Jamie Wedding.
Getting There
Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport is the nearest international gateway, roughly an hour and a half by car from the venue. It is the easiest and most popular arrival point for guests.
Most travelers connect through Rome (FCO), Milan, or another European hub. Direct seasonal routes also run from several European cities in spring.
Brindisi Airport is a smaller alternative, also around an hour and a half from the venue and well placed if you plan to explore the Salento coast. Either airport works well.
Renting a car is not necessary, but it is recommended if you want the freedom to explore Puglia and the surrounding towns before or after the celebrations.
Rental desks are available at both Bari and Brindisi airports. Book early for May, as spring is a busy season in the region.
Masseria Amastuola sits at Località Amastuola, Strada Provinciale 42, Crispiano (TA). From Bari, follow the SS100 toward Taranto, then the local roads toward Crispiano. The estate is signposted from the main road.
We are finalizing shuttle service for the ceremony day between the guest hotel and the venue. We will update this page as soon as those details are confirmed, so please check back closer to the date.
Where to Stay
We have set aside a block of rooms at Best Western Hotel Massafra just for our guests, so you can stay close to one another and to the celebration. To receive the discounted rate, please email the hotel directly and mention the Chloé & Jamie Wedding.
Rooms are reserved for our guests, but each guest books and pays for their own stay directly with the hotel. We recommend booking early, as the block is held only for a limited time.
Good to Know
We suggest arriving by Sunday 16 May so you are settled and rested for the welcome dinner on the 17th. Many guests are extending their stay to explore the region.
Plan to depart on or after Thursday 20 May. The pool party on the 19th is a relaxed send-off, and you will not want to rush away from it.
May in Puglia is glorious. Expect warm, sunny days around 22 to 26°C and cooler evenings. Pack a light layer for the night celebrations and comfortable shoes for grass and stone.
Refer to the dress code for each celebration: La Dolce Vita for the welcome dinner, Black Tie for the ceremony, and poolside resort wear for the farewell. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a sense of la dolce vita.
Italy uses the euro. Cards are widely accepted, though it is handy to carry some cash for small cafés and markets in the countryside towns.
The whitewashed trulli of Alberobello, the seaside of Polignano a Mare, and the baroque streets of Lecce are all within easy reach and well worth a day.
